Lifetime Learning by Ball State offers non-credit online career training, certification exam prep, and custom business programs to upskill Indiana teams. Our programs help individuals and businesses grow strategically, boost employability, and drive community growth.
We believe funding should never be a barrier. That’s why we provide access through Indiana’s Next Level Jobs Employer Training Grants, Workforce Ready Grant (WRG), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). We even offer two new part-time Cloud and Cyber tracks that are eligible for GI Bill® funding. With 28 funded programs covering in-demand fields, participants gain competitive, market-ready skills.

Where are you headed in your career? If you are unemployed or under-employed, you may be eligible to receive free career training and get certified in high growth fields through the WIOA federal grant re-training program. Lifetime Learning by Ball State offers 28 approved programs, so you can choose your next in-demand career destination. Certification exam fees are included. Our Enrollment Specialist will walk you through the process!
Workforce Ready Grant
Supporting Student Career Readiness
The Workforce Ready Grant (WRG) applies to Indiana students with a high school diploma and less than a bachelor’s degree (citizens and eligible non-citizens). Qualified students will receive free certification training through the grant. Options include Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), and more!
Next Level Jobs Employer Training Grants
Show us your pain points, and we will create a tailored solution to help you build the team you need!
The Employer Training Grant will reimburse employers up to $5,000 per employee who is trained, hired, and retained for six months after approved professional development for in-demand industries, up to $50,000 per employer. Training can be customized for a group of future leaders or individualized certifications. Ball State University’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute is the United States host site for this breakthrough process for unleashing creativity and problem-solving within your organization.
Our experts will come to your site, meet you for a retreat, or host you at one of our own beautiful properties to walk you through this proven innovation process.
CXX is a highly interactive exercise in casting a vision, mapping your customer journey, and improving each touchpoint with your customer’s expectations in mind. If you want to differentiate your customer experience from the competition, this is your training!
This program is accredited by the National Public Manager Consortium and offered exclusively by the Bowen Center for Public Affairs in cooperation with Lifetime Learning. Public managers will improve their organizational skills to produce public value and facilitate a results-oriented team culture. This program is delivered in two phases.
